Indoor Climbing
Two days intensive indoor climbing, the aim being to give you the skills and ability to use your local wall with confidence. During this course you will learn about personal equipment, how to tie in safely, how to belay safely, use of indoor wall fixed protection, and basic movement on the wall. No previous experience required.

First Moves, Peak District Gritstone
Introduction to outdoor climbing on some of the countries 
premier crags. Two days guided rock climbing with an experienced local instructor, during this session you will learn about guide books, identifying routes, safety procedures for natural rock outcrops, Basic top rope systems and belaying for crags and outcrops, develop individual rock climbing techniques and styles. No previous experienced required

Women only climbing course
Two days of climbing with a female instructor, based in the Hathersage area (Peak District) during which you will learn all the skills to be self sufficient on rock outcrops and crags, how to tie in, belaying and setup of anchors, the pace of this course is set by you the client. No previous experience required.

Learning to Lead
This two day course is intended for individuals who have some previous experience of climbing in or outdoors and want 
to make that first move to placing own protection on the natural crag environment. The course is structured so that you should leave the course with the knowledge to select your routes using local guide books, have an understanding of safe placement of running belays and safe anchor systems, and how to solve very simple problems on a single pitch crag. Previous experience of seconding a lead climber.

Multi-pitch Climbing
Two days of intensive multi-pitch climbing based in North Wales or the Lake District. Participants will be guided by an experienced local climber. By the end of the course you will be able to confidently second a leader. Depending on previous experience and ability participants may have the opportunity to lead multi-pitch routes. During these two days you will develop rope handling skills, belaying, anchor selection and systems, and multi-pitch abseil descents. Must have previous experience climbing outdoors.

Self Rescue and problem solving
Found yourself in a situation where you wanted to know a prussic from a alpine butterfly and which would work best? This course may be for you. This course is aimed at giving you those advanced rope skills that could help you or a partner out of a tricky situation, focusing on self rescue techniques, prussic and releasable knots and rope systems, abseiling and how to help out and injured climber. Previous rock climbing essential, preferable leading experience, please contact if in doubt.

Hill walking to Scrambling
Looking to be more adventurous with your hillwalking routes, want to develop the skills and knowledge to take you over steeper and challenging terrain then this may be the course for you. This weekend is aimed at introducing you to simple rope work and advanced route finding in steep and rock terrain, enabling you to escape the maddening crowds. You will be working with a qualified instructor, and covering extra topics such as guide books and route selection, personal clothing and equipment, mountain hazards and emergency procedures.
Price Includes accommodation on a bed only basis.(based in a comfortable Mountain Bunkhouse with Central kitchen, drying room, with hot and cold showers/ water). All in course transport requirements.

Advanced Scrambling
Want to develop the techniques and skills to explore grade 2 & 3 scrambles. During this weekend course you will cover Guide books and route finding in mountainous areas and more advanced rope work suitable for safe movement over more challenging terrain, choice of personal and safety equipment for scrambling.
